People Played Spacebro!
This year, Gamercamp was being hosted in Toronto's four-storey Hotel Ocho where we found ourselves on the same floor as Microsoft, who were featuring a number of Xbox One titles to be released (including Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime). We met a lot of cool people and apparently also made some noise!
Over the course of the weekend of October 18th and 19th, fans, partygoers and members of the press crowded the lobby and halls of the hotel to play the 21 or so games made available for the Pop-Up Arcade as part of Gamercamp's official selection, as well as about 20 games selected by Microsoft and Sony which will be available for their own platforms.
Basically, very many people played Spacebro Justice Rocket!
Before we get into all the lovely press you can read, We'd like to say that we had an amazing time at what was sadly the last Gamercamp, that we are super proud to have been a part of it, and we're glad to have met all of the lovely people that attended. They're a pretty fantastic lot, and the event was an absolute blast.
People Talked about Spacebro!
Here are a bunch of articles that were written involving or about Spacebro!
Critical Hit Reimagines the Video Game - Concordia Now wrote about the Critical Hit showcase at Google Montreal and discusses how games like Spacebro and Mouffe (another game that came out of Critical Hit) are trying to change people's expectations of what games can be.

Spacebro Justice Rocket Explodes - is Dorshelf's tag-line for the Pop-Up Arcade section of "5 Things to Look Forward to at Gamercamp"
Five things you should check out at this year’s Gamercamp - O.Canada.com mentions two of the Official Gamercamp Selections in this article - us, and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. Interestingly enough, this article isn't the same as the one above.
Four games from Gamercamp that stood out as the most innovative or just plain weird - In this article by the Financial Post we find ourselves in very very good company with Mouffe as well as Keep Talking.
(Mouffe was also featured in the Best Games of Gamercamp lvl 6!)

High Five To Start: Spacebro Justice Rocket - Dorkshelf writes about us again, this time with an article all to ourselves - and they had some nice things to say!
"... there’s already something special about Spacebro in its current iteration. Seeing two people you don’t know (and who might not know each other) enthusiastically doing secret handshakes is about as unique a gaming experience as you can get. When you’re invited to put on the glove and high five to start, there’s really nothing else like it: saving the world with nothing but the power of friendship."
